Sometimes, when you switch between devices while trading, the candles on the chart may slightly differ. This can happen when one of your devices temporarily loses connection to the server.
You can be certain that the candle difference does not affect the outcome of any trade. Your device is only involved in sending the information to the server and visualizing the data.
Why does this happen?
Our platform picks up quotes from the trading server, which, in turn, receives the data directly from the quotation stream provider.
If your internet connection gets interrupted, even briefly, your device will receive an incomplete set of quotes for the selected timeframe and, therefore, will only use this limited data to visualize a candle.
For this reason, if one of the charts is set to a different timeframe or you’re connected to different networks — the candles may display dissimilar due to connection issues.
But once the connection is restored, the candles formed during the interruption will be immediately adjusted.
How to prevent it?
To avoid differences in a chart visualization, check your devices’ ping, connection speed, and overall performance. We also recommend keeping the app updated to the latest version.
